Survivors, wife, Mrs. Lillian Valmon Payne, 2 sons, Lloyd Eugene Payne, Carlsbad, and Donald Dwain Payne, Saudi Arabia. 2 daughters, Mrs. Georgia Lee Browning, Gallup, N.M., and Mrs. Mary Catherine Wood, Animas, N.M. 9 grandchildren. 3 great-grandchildren. 6 brothers, 3 sisters. Funeral services 3 p.m. Saturday in the Methodist Church, at Lakeview, Texas. Burial will be in the Lakeview Cemetery. Local arrangement by Kaster & Maxon Downtown Chapel.
