Beverly Lorraine Ponec 1922 - 2009 Graveside Services for Beverly Lorraine Ponec will be held on Tuesday, December 22, 10:00 a.m. at Greenlawn Mortuary, 3700 River Blvd. Monsignor Michael Braun will officiate. Beverly was born and raised in Bakersfield, CA. Beverly served in the U.S. Navy where she met and married the love of her life, Edwin W. Ponec on April 15, 1945. Beverly is preceded in death by her parents, Frank C. and Alma McGregor and son-in-law, Dennis Ervin. She leaves behind her husband of 64 years Edwin Ponec; daughters, Kathryn Ervin, Helen Beard and husband David; son, Patrick and wife Jeanne Ponec; grandchildren, Kimberly Beard, Joshua and wife Christy, Christopher and Lauren Ponec; and great grandchildren, Zachary and Hunter Ponec.
