Married Aug. 11, 1892 to Robert Newton Rogers. Services for Mrs. Laura Chestena Fuller Rogers, 68, were held at the First Baptist Church at Corsicana, Texas. She passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. B.F. Robbins. Mrs. Laura Chestena Rogers moved to Comanche County, Texas when just a child. Miss Laura Chestena Fuller married Robert Newton Rogers on 11 August 1892 at Corsicana, Texas. The couple spent 47 years at Corsicana, Texas. He preceded her in death. She moved to Graham, Texas after her husband's death to live with her only daughter. Mrs. Laura Chestena Rogers was a devoted member of the Baptist Church. One daughter, Bessie, preceded her mother in death. Survived by one daughter - Mrs. B.F. Robbins; six sons - I.W. Rogers, R.D. Rogers, W.A. Rogers, H.T. Rogers, R.M. Rogers, R.L. Rogers; one grandson, Ewing, who she raised as her own child; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one sister - Mrs. George Underwood; three brothers - Bartley Fuller, Andrew Fuller, Lee Fuller.
