Mrs. Underwood's Services held this Afternoon Funeral services for Mrs. George W. Underwood, 84, resident of Waxahachie for 52 years were held at the Boze-Mitchell Funeral Chapel at 2 p.m. Wednesday with Rev. Jerr y Wilson officiating. Burial was in Bethel Cemetery. Mrs. Underwood, a native of Alabama and a resident of Ellis County for 57 years, died Tuesday morning at Waxahachie Sanitorium where she had been a patient for several days. She was a member of Ferris Heights Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1956. Survivors include four sons, Bart Underwood of Forreston, Frank Underwood of Carthage, H.E. Underwood of Haughton, L., and Mano Underwood of Dallas, four daughters, Mrs. B.L. Campbell of Waxahachie, Mrs. Walter Lovill of Carthage, and Mrs. Wiley Cassel and Mrs. Dick Water both of Corpus Christi; 38 grandchildren, 73 great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren.
