Bio
Son of James and Laura (Krenk) Zima. He graduated from David City High School in 1952. Don served in the United States Army, in Germany, during the Korean Conflict. On Dec. 2, 1967, Don married Margaret Krumbach at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Shelby. He was a lifelong farmer near Abie and Linwood retiring in 2000. He was a member of the American Legion Post #125 in David City. Don is survived by his wife Margaret of David City; two daughters, Joan (Scott) Leu of Omaha and Donna Zima of Wrentham, Mass.; brother, Adrian (Marlene) Zima of Schuyler; and three grandchildren, Abbi, Conner and Caitlin Leu, all of Omaha; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Laura Zima.
