Bio

Originally buried in Oakwood Cemetery in Cisco Texas , but was later moved to Wylie Cemetery in 1993. GABE MASSEY CISCO (RNS) – Gabe Edward Massey, 65, of Cisco died at 2:55 p.m. Tuesday in E.L. Graham Memorial Hospital.  Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church.  Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery. Born Dec. 29, 1910, at Dublin, he had lived in Cisco two years, moving here from Arlington.  He was a retired public administrator.  He married Fay O. Jones Dec. 24, 1939, at DeLeon.  Mr. Massey was a member of First Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife; three sons, Tyler Walton Massey II of Monroe, La., Herman Ray of Austin and Thurman Kay of Dallas; a sister, Mrs. Roland Jones of Garland; and five grandchildren.  --The Abilene Reporter-News (Abilene, Texas); Wednesday, 07 Jul 1976; pg. 7-C
