Bio

Jessie Carrie Baber Hunter, 91 year old Van Buren resident, died February, 1982. She was the widow of Otie V. Hunter, Sr. a Missouri Pacific Railroad engineer who died in 1972. She was one of the oldest members of the First United Methodist Church in Van Buren and of the Linda Chew Sunday School Class of that Church. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Chester Jackson and Mrs. Juanita Williams, both of Van Buren and Mrs. Clara Evelyn Lamb of Kansas City, Mo; a son, Otie V. Hunter, Jr. of Bakersfield, Ca.; four grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
