Addalee married (1) Taylor Gusta MCBROOM in 1922. They had three sons: Robert Edward Lee, James Iguster & Donald Taylor MCBROOM. (2) Lewis Melvin MCBROOM on 06 Jan 1977 in Cherokee Co TX. OBITUARY: The Daily Sentinel, Nacogdoches TX, 25 Mar 1995 Funeral for Ada Lee Odell McBroom, 88, of Garrison, will be held at 2pm on Sunday at Cason Monk-Metcalf Sunset Chapel with interment following in Swift Cemetery. Officiating will be the Rev. Glenn Matlock and the Rev. Kenneth Stone. Ms. McBroom died Friday, March 24, 1995, in Nacogdoches Medical Center. Born Jan. 8, 1907 in Shelby County, she was the daughter of John and Addie Alford King. Ms. McBroom was a houswife and a Pentecostal and was preceded in death by her husband, Taylor McBroom, in 1987. Survivors include: sons, Robert McBroom of Willis, and James McBroom of Center; 14 grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren. Visitation will be held after 10am on Saturday. Cason Monk-Metcalf Funeral Directors will direct arrangements.
