Bio

Louis Charles Stojanik, 99, a native Texan and a native of Williamson County, passed away on Saturday, December 27, 2008. Louis was born the youngest of 10 children on August 15, 1909 to the late Frank and Barbara Kubala Stojanik. He was also preceded in death by his loving wife of 65 years, Mary Stojanik, who passed away on April 30, 1997; and his 9 siblings. Louis worked as a farmer in Williamson County for many years. He later went to work for The Griggs Manufacturing plant in Belton, Texas as a furniture maker and later worked as a night watchman. He and Mary loved to play dominos in their younger years. Louis cut hair for many years for his neighbors and friends. He was an avid pecan picker and sheller. In his later years, he loved to watch "Wheel of Fortune" and "The Price Is Right". Louis had a love for animals and most of all, his beloved dogs. Louis leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving daughters, Dorothy Tschoerner of Jarrell, TX and Agnes Tschoerner of Temple, TX; 6 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren; along with several other loving family members and friends.
