Bio
Raymond was born in Lindsey, TX to Albert Charlie and Catherine Drieter Krebs. He married Viola Mary Thilges at St. Joe, Iowa. She preceded him in death on Dec. 12, 1999. He worked for years in law enforcement in Algora, IA, and sheriff for Coal County, Chief Police in Coalgate, Special Investigator under D.A. John Axton, and bus driver for Olney Public schools. He served in Military in WWII, Served on the USS Leo, USS WM. P. Biddle & the USS Lasalle, He was a motor machinist mate (Heavy Equipment Operator). He is survived by sons, Daniel Raymond Krebs of Ada, OK and Larry Krebs and wife Cathy of Coalgate, OK; grandchildren, Joey Allen Krebs of OKC, OK, Damon, Calie, Joseph and Tiffany Krebs of Coalgate, OK; great grandchildren, Chance and Brant Krebs, Boone Brecheen and Dallas Krebs; sister, Catherine Nokusille. He was preceded in death by his wife; his parents; sister, Mary Alberta Krebs and great grandchildren, Braden and Denver Krebs. Services will be Friday, Dec. 11, 2009 at 10 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church where Raymond was a member. Interment will be at Moore Cemetery. Father Higgins will officiate. Casketbearers will be JB Blua, Nick Lolli,Glenn Glass, Warren Powell, Don Stanberry, and J.D. Smith. Honorary pallbearers will be Jack Ruffini, Victor Enrico, Bill Avanzii, Bill McCarty, Bobby George Lee, William Hunter, Charles Spears, and Charles D. Spears.
