Published: Wednesday, December 2, 2009 11:23 AM CST, Navasota Examiner A Funeral Mass for Floyd Patrick Pasket, 83, of Anderson, was celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 27, at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Anderson with Rev. Raul Marterior as the celebrant. The rite of committal followed in St. Stanislaus Church Cemetery. A parish rosary led by Russell Pasket was held at 7 p.m. on Thursday at the church. Arrangements were entrusted to Lindley-Robertson-Holt Funeral Home. Floyd died early Tuesday morning, Nov. 24, at Grimes-St. Joseph Health Center. He was born in Anderson on Jan. 6, 1926, to John and Maggie Wrobleski Pasket. Floyd grew up in Anderson and served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II and is a former POW. After returning from the war, he later married Albina Sechelski on Nov. 15, 1952, at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church. They moved to Houston where Floyd was a fabricator. They returned to Anderson in 1990. Floyd was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Dorothy Feehey and brothers, Harold and Raymond Pasket. Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Albina Pasket of Anderson; sons, James Pasket and wife Janice of Pearland and Jeff Pasket of Anderson; brother, Albert Pasket and wife Frances of Anderson; sister-in-law Dorothy Pasket of Anderson; brother-in-law, Richard Feehey of North Carolina and 2 grandsons, Thomas and Charlie Pasket. Serving as pallbearers were Gary Pasket, Steven Paskett, Danny Pasket, Daniel Melchor, Darryl Pasket and Michael Wrobleski along with ushers, Johnny Pasket Jr. and Leon Pasket.
