MATTIE GLENN TORIAN, was born 6 January 1908 in Louisiana, to John Givens Torian and Celeste Stelly; married Thomas Marlyn Reed, 6 November 1926. They lived in Burnet, Texas. obituary: Mattie G. Reed, 92, of Austin, formerly of Burnet died on Dec. 26, 2000. She was born on January 6, 1908 in Lafayette, Louisiana to John and Celeste (Stelly) Torian. Survivors include her son, Thomas J. Reed and wife Ann of Pflugerville, daughter Sally Reed Miller of Austin, sister Bernice Polk of Houston, 6 grandchildren, Susan M. Kinderwater of Richmond, VA, Michele K. Evans of Dallas, Thomas C. Miller of Georgetown, Elizabeth M Phillips of Austin, Scott T. Reed of Pflugerville and John D. Reed of Pflugerville and 3 great grandchildren.
