Bio

Twyla Lowell-Lay, 91, of Oklahoma City, passed away November 24, 2009. She was born September 15, 1918 in Oklahoma City to Ollie Marks and Goldie (Coleman) Herron. Twyla married Lloyd Lowell in 1937 and was a stay at home mom. She enjoyed taking care of her family and was always there for her 3 children, whom she loved dearly. After the death of Lloyd, she married Henry Lay. Twyla was preceded in death by both husbands and two sisters. She is survived by: • Her children, Terry Lloyd and wife Carol Lowell of Moore, Sandra and husband James Pratt of Oklahoma City, and Ronald and wife Trudy Lowell of Norman; • Sister, Jessie Marie Shepherd of Oklahoma City; • And many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
