HOUSTON- Kathryn Brand Loden, age 89, died Wednesday, October 11, 1995 at Trace Regional Hospital of vascular complications. Funeral services were held Thursday, October 12 at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in Mixon Cemetery, McCondy, with the Rev. Ray Rooney officiating. Memorial Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. The daughter of the late Charles Cunningham Brand and the late Annie Harris, she was born July 24, 1906 in Clay County. She was the widow of the late William Clifton Loden and was az member of Houston First United Methodist Church and of the Daughters of the American Revoultion (D. A. R.). Survivors include one daughter, Ann Loden Vickery of Houston; one son, W. C. "Skeeter" Loden of Pontotoc; six grandchildren and three great grandsons. Pallbearers were Larry Bonds, Billy Brand, Pete Dexter, Toby Dexter, Bobby Pearson and John Brand.
