Bio

Joyce Hunt Dorris, of Beaumont, passed away at Memorial Hermann Baptist Beaumont Hospital. A native of Liberty, she was a Beaumont resident for twenty years and was a nurse's aide. Survivors include daughters, Terri Williamson and Cynthia LaNell Rayner, Donna Joyce Abshire and Pamela Dorris, son, Jimmy Allen Dorris; sisters, Lillie Littlefield, Corine Kliem and Agnes Silhavy; brothers, Hollis B. Hunt and Ernest B. Hunt and seven grandchildren. Funeral at Praise Christian Center with burial at Guedry Cemetery in Batson under the direction of Broussard's Mortuary in Beaumont.
