Bio

Born Bernard Brod, son of Elizabeth Ketterman and her second husband Johannes "John" Brod, Sr. (1793-1861), he is buried under the name Beimer, which was the name of his mother's first husband Bernard Heinrich Beimer (1804-1843), his half-brothers, Hermann, Louis and William, and his half-sister Elizabeth. Died of Yellow Fever.
