Olney Times Newspaper- 24 February 1910 Bellinger--Pounds Step-father and gets four nasty cuts. William Bellinger came very near passing in his checks last Thursday on account of a little operating done by his step-father, Jasper Skaggs, during a free for all between the two men. Young Bellinger is said to have pitched into Skaggs, and that Skaggs cut him in self defense while he was down at any rate Skaggs did a good job of cutting as he just missed killing Bellinger by a narrow magin. Bellinger has four cuts, one ear which had to be sewed together. Dr. I.N. Martin patched him up and he is now out with head swathed in bandages. ****************** William J.M.
