Requiem Mass Held Sat. For Mary Bezdek Mrs. Mary Bezdek, 78, of Terrell, formerly of West, died in a Terrell hospital last week. Rosary was recited at 8 p.m. Friday at Kotch Funeral Home Chapel in West. Requiem mass was celebrated at 4 p.m. Saturday in St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption at West with Rev. James O'Connor as celebrant. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery. Mrs. Bezdek was born at Ennis and lived at West before moving to Terrell about 51 years ago. Her husband, John J. Bezdek, died in 1958. Surviving are two daughters, Miss Marie Bezdek of 527 North Fourteenth, Waco, and Mrs. Anna McCoy of Seaside, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Bertha Nekuza and Mrs. Janie Slovak, both of Ennis; her step-mother, Mrs. Annie Nekuza of Ennis; and two granddaughters.
