Mrs. Emilia Zatopek, age 86, of 300 Haven St., passed away Thursday, Nov. 3 at West Rest Haven. Rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Friday at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel by Msgr. George Doskocil. Mass of Christian Burial was at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption, the Rev. B.J. Zientek as celebrant. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery. Mrs. Zatopek was born May 1, 1897, in McLennan County. She was a housewife, having married William A. Zatopek Feb. 6, 1917, in West. He died Jan. 12, 1972. She was also a member of KJZT No. 11 and the Ladies Altar Society. She belonged to St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption. Survivors include one son, William C. Zatopek of Austin; one daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Marchak of West; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Jimmy Snokhous, Royce Zatopek, Wesley Sulak, Harry Lichnovsky, Albin Chudej and Joe Bruegging.
