Elenora M. Volcik, age 79, of West, passed away Tuesday morning in Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center in Waco. Graveside services were held at 4 p.m. Thursday in St. Mary's Cemetery in West, with Rev. Isidore Rozycki, officiating. Mrs. Volcik was born Aug. 31, 1919 in Aquilla and had lived the West/Waco area most of her life. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in West, SPJST Lodge #66 and the KJZT Society #11. She is preceded in death by her son, Marvin Volcik who died in 1991. Mrs. Volcik is survived by one son, Danny Volcik and wife Velma of Waco; one daughter, Charlene Kirby and husband Roger of Elm Mott; and seven grandchildren. Active pallbearers were Douglas Volcik, Mike Volcik, Daniel Riojas, Gene Schutza, Adam Scruggs and James Bohannan. Kotch Funeral Home of West is in charge of arrangements.
