Mrs. Charlie (Mary) Veselka, 74, of Bellmead died Wednesday morning in the West Community Hospital. Rosary will be recited Thursday, March 1, 1984 in Kotch Funeral Home Chapel, West, at 7:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday, March 2, 1984 at 2 p.m. in St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Bellmead with Rev. George Tzanakas as celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, West. Mrs. Veselka was born in West and had lived in Elk for a number of years. She had lived in Bellmead for the past 40 years, and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bellmead. She married Charlie Veselka February 14, 1927. Survivors include her husband Charlie of Bellmead; three sons, Henry Veselka of Rt. 5, Waco; Jim Veselka of Bellmead and Fred Veselka of Satin; one daughter, Rose Black of Blane, Washington; three brothers, John Pustejovsky of Aquilla, Bob Pustejovsky of Waco and Ben Pustejovsky of Robinson; one sister, Frances Pokluda of Rt. 1, West; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Pallbearers are Mike Black, Freddie Veselka, Darrell Veselka, John Murphy, Ralph Pustejovsky and David Pustejovsky.
