Adolph Anton Veselka, age 69, of 1410 Oaklawn in Bellmead died Friday, November 30, 1990 in a tragic fire that swept through his home. Rosary was recited at 7 p.m. December 3 at Wilkerson-Hatch Funeral Chapel in Waco. Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with the Rev. Angelo Bertini as celebrant. Burial followed in St. Mary's Cemetery in West. Mr. Veselka was born October 30, 1921 in West and attended schools in McLennan County. He was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII. He was self-employed and a member of RVOS Lodge #32 and St. Joseph's Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by a brother, Augustine Veselka and his father John M. Veselka. Survivors include his mother, Annie Veselka of Waco; one sister, Eileen Frazier of Waco; one brother, Louie J. Veselka of Chalk Bluff; two nieces, Diana Engelke of Chalk Bluff and Laura Ansley of Clear Lake; one nephew, Mark L. Frazier of Hewitt and two great-nephews, Justin Engelka and Matthew Frazier.
