Services Held Wednesday For Mrs. John Sulak Mrs. John (Mary) Sulak, 79, of West died Monday afternoon in the West hospital. Requiem mass was celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption, Rev. Earl Hedberg officiated. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery in West. Rosary was recited at 8 p.m. Tuesday in Kotch Funeral Home Chapel. Mrs. Sulak was born in Fayette County and had lived in the West area since 1908. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption and the Altar-Rosary Society. She was also a member of the Catholic Daughters of America, Court 829 and the KJZT Society No. 31 of West. Mrs. Sulak married John Sulak August 2, 1920 in West. She was a former school teacher in Denton and Sulak schools. A daughter, Lillian Girard, died April 2, 1963. Survivors include her husband, John; three sons, John P. Sulak and Joe C. Sulak both of West, and Wesley R. Sulak of Arlington; five daughters, Mrs. George (Ann) Chabisek of San Antonio, Mrs. Agnes Adamson, Mrs. Raymond (Henrietta) Barton and Mrs. George (Leona) Hanzlicek all of West, and Mrs. Lynn (Frances) Webb of Arlington; four brothers, John Zvesper of LaGrange, Henry Zvsper of San Antonio, Joe Zvesper of California and Charlie Zvesper of Hallettsville; two sisters, Mrs. Felix B. Werchen of Carmine and Mrs. Fred Clockson of Corpus Christi; 41 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
