Doris Sembera, age 48, of West, died early Tuesday morning, January 23, 1996 in West. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Thursday (today) at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption in West with the Rev. Ed Karasek as celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery near West. Mrs. Sembera was born April 2, 1947 in West, the daughter of Jerry and Sophie Hlavaty. She attended West Schools and graduated from West High School in 1966. She married Lawrence J. Sembera on May 11, 1968 in West. He preceded her in death on September 26, 1994. She was a housewife and homemaker. She was also a housekeeper for several West area families. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption in West. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Dale and Kathy Sembera and Brian and Michelle Sembera, all of West; one daughter, Renee Sembera of West; two brothers, Edwin Hlavaty of West and Fred Hlavaty of Agua Dulce, California; one granddaughter, Brailey Sembera of West; and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers are Emil Sembera III, Kyle Sembera, Jason Sembera, David Kolar, Ricky Kolar and Bryan Anderson. Aderhold Funeral Home in West is in charge of arrangements.
