Frank S. Sebik, age 89, of Abbott, passed away early Monday afternoon, April 11, 1994 at Hill Regional Hospital in Hillsboro. A rosary was recited 7 p.m. Wednesday at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel, recited by Isidore Rozycki. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. today (Thursday) at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church with Rev. John Molnar as celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery near West. Mr. Sebik was born November 27, 1904 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the son of Anton and Julie Sebik. He married Agnes Retchek on February 8, 1926 in West. She preceded him in death on June 6, 1990. He was a farmer in the Abbott area for most of his life before retiring in 1969. He was a charter member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Abbott. He is survived by three sons, Albin Sebik of Abbott, Eugene Sebik of Waco and Pat Sebik and his wife Betty of Ennis; one daughter, Margie Juricek and her husband Raymond of Dallas; seven grandchildren, Dan Jurick and Larry Juricek, both of Dallas, Carolyn Hanzlicek of West, Tammy Denton of Axtell, Randy Sebik of Hillsboro, Linda Sebik of Waco and Monica Sebik of Ennis; six great-grandchildren, Brandon Juricek, Ashley Juricek and Hollynd Juricek, all of Dallas, Heath Hanzlicek and Heather Hanzlicek, both of West, and Thomas Denton of Axtell; and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers are Larry Juricek, Dan Juricek, Randy Sebik, Joe Sebik, George Hanzlicek, Jr., and Jeff Denton. Brandon Juricek is serving as Altar Boy.
