Mrs. Frank (Agnews) Sebik, age 83, of Abbott, passed away early Wednesday morning, June 6, 1990 at her residence. A rosary was recited at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Ed Karasek. Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Abbott with Rev. Isidore Rozycki as celebrant. Burial followed in St. Mary's Cemetery near West. Mrs. Sebik was born January 21, 1907 in McLennan County, the daughter of John and Aloisie Retchek. She married Frank S. Sebik on February 8, 1926 in West. She was a housewife and homemaker. She was a member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Abbott and a member of the SPJST Lodge No. 66. Survivors include her husband, Frank S. Sebik of Abbott; three sons, Albin Sebik of Abbott and Eugene Sebik and Louis Sebik, both of Dallas; one daughter, Margaret Juricek of Dallas; one brother, John Retchek of Dallas; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Randy Sebik, Larry Juricek, Dan Juricek, Joe Sebik, George Hanzlicek, Jr. and Jeff Denton. The West News, West, Texas, Volume 100, No. 24, Ed. 1, Thursday, June 14, 1990, page 4.
