Services Held Saturday For John Parma, Sr. Funeral services for John Parma, Sr., 78, of West were held Saturday at St. Mary's Church of Assumption, Rev. George Doskocil officiating. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery. Mr. Parma died at 1:30 a.m. Friday in a Waco hospital. Rosary was recited at 7:30 p.m. Friday in Kotch Funeral Home Chapel. Mr. Parma was born in Czechoslovakia and lived in the West area for 60 years. He was a retired farmer. He was a member of St. Mary's Church, KJT Lodge 31 and Catholic Workman Lodge 77 of West. Survivors are his wife, Elbina Parma; two daughters, Mrs. F.J. Helona of Abbott and Mrs. John R. Kofnovec of Route 2, West, and Joe H. Parma of Birome; 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
