A.J. Muska, Sr., Dies; Funeral Held Wednesday Adolph Joseph Muska, Sr., of West died at 11:10 p.m. Sunday, March 10, 1963, in a Waco hospital. He was 66. Funeral services were held at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Church of Assumption in West, Msgr. I.J. Valenta officiated. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery. Present in the Sanctuary were Rev. Joseph Walsh of Bellmead and Rev. W. Pechal of Abbott. The K. of C. Choir sang the Requiem High Mass. Rosary was recited at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in Aderhold-Moore Funeral Home. Mr. Muska operated a shoe repair shop in West. He was a native of Yoakum but had lived in West 34 years. He was a member of the Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus and KJT, a fraternal organization. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Magdalen Muska of West; a son, Adolph Muska, Jr., of West; two daughters, Mrs. Donald Nigro of Lincoln, Newb., and Mrs. Joe Rimkus of Florida; two brothers, John Muska of Yoakum and Emil Muska of San Antonio; three sisters, Sister Mary Winefred, Miss Josephine Muska and Miss Annie Muska, all of San Antonio; and eight grandchildren. Pallbearers were Jerome Lednicky, Vaclav Bezdek, Frank Cocek, Charles Smaistrla, Sr., Frank Lichnovsky and John Kubala. Honorary Pallbearers were members of the KJT and Knights of Columbus.
