Last Rites Are Held for Mrs. Mary Mudryk Funeral services were held for Mrs. Mary Mudryk from Aderhold Funeral Home at 9:30 a.m. and at the Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 22, 1945, Father E. J. Polcak officiated. The Rosary was said at 8:30 p.m. Friday. Interment was at the Catholic Cemetery. Mrs. Mudryk was born December 24, 1862 in Lvon, Poland. She died on Thursday, September 20. She was 82 years and eight months old. Mrs. Mudryk has lived in West a great many years, she was one of the earliest settlers in this part of the country. She is survived by her daughter Mrs. Joe L. Marek of West, three sons, Andrew of Gary, Ind., George of Illinois, and Frank of Hollywood, California, and thirteen grandchildren. The pallbearers were: Fred Svacek, Albin Bartosh, Jim Tobola, Joe Tobola, John Marek, and Frank Rejcek. The West News, Volume 56, No. 19, Edition 1, Friday, September 28, 1945.
