Emil Mechell Dies; Services Held Monday Emil Mechell, 55, of Route 2, West, died Friday night in the West Community Hospital. Requiem mass was celebrated Monday at St. Mary’s Church of the Assumption in West, burial followed in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Georgia Mechell; four sons, Fred Mechell of Abbott, Jerry Mechell of Odessa and Larry Mechell and Terry Mechell, both of Route 2, West; two daughters, Mrs. Doris Bailey and Miss Joanie Mechell, both of Route 2, West; two brothers, Ed Mechell of Crowell and John Mechell of Abbott; four sisters, Mrs. Julie Uptmore and Mrs. Albin (Sophie) Pavlas, both of West, Mrs. Robert (Christine) Monthie of Lorena and Mrs. Ruth Krizan of Route 2, West; and two grandchildren.
