A.L. Marek, 56, Buried Thursday A. L. Marek, 56, of near Abbott died Tuesday and was buried Thursday in West. Funeral services were held at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Abbott, Rev. Chas. Smid officiating at 9 a.m. Thursday morning. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery in West. Rosary was recited at Connally Chapel in West Wednesday evening at 8 o'clock. Survivors are his widow, Christine Marek; one son, Billy Ray; one daughter, Mrs. Douglas Calmelet of Waco; one brother, John Marek of Waco; one half-brother, Joe Marek; two sisters, Mrs. Leo Ruzicka and Miss Philomena Marek of West; three half sisters, Mrs. Frank Mach of Axtell, Mrs. Joe Pavlicek of Tours and Mrs. Jim Hynek of West.
