Mrs. Frank (Veronica-Ronny) Lenart, age 78, of Route 2 Abbott, died Thursday, January 6 in the West Hospital. Rosary was recited at 8 p.m. Friday at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, January 8, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, the Rev. Gilbert Barth as celebrant. Burial was at St. Mary's Cemetery in West. Mrs. Lenart was born January 4, 1905, in McLennan County and was a 55-year resident of the Abbott area. She was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, the church's Altar Society, KJZT No. 104 and Catholic Daughters of America. Her husband, Frank Lenart, died in 1971. Survivors include three sons, Bernard Lenart and Joe Lenart, both of Abbott, and Raymond Lenart of Plano; 13 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were: grandsons Bernard Lenart, Jr., Michael Lenart, John Lenart, James Lenart, Thomas Lenart and Anthony Lenart. Honorary Pallbearers were: all great and great-grandchildren, members of the Hillsboro Catholic Daughters of America Court. Kotch Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
