IRVING - Edward W. Lenart, 58, of Irving, formerly of West, died May 2, 1987, at an Irving hospital. Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at 10 a.m. May 4 at St. Luke Catholic Church in Irving. Graveside services were at 12:30 p.m. May 4 at St. Mary's Cemetery in West, Monsignor George Doskocil officiated. Rosary was recited at 8 p.m. May 3 at the Ben Brown Funeral Home Chapel in Irving. Mr. Lenart was born on Oct. 10, 1928, in West. He had been a resident of Irving since 1957. He was a self-employed painting contractor. He was a member of St. Luke Catholic Church. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Holy Family Council of Irving. He was married to Jerlene Krizan. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Edward Joe Lenart of Irving and John Lenart of New Jersey; four daughters, Mrs. Michael (Patricia) Bromhall of Grand Prairie, Mrs. Hoyt (Cathy) Jaynes of Grapevine, and Mrs. Donny (Barbara) Kennedy and Kristy Lenart, both of Irving; a brother, Raymond Lenart of Abbott; a sister, Mrs. Leo (Evelyn) Sulak of Lake Granbury; and 10 grandchildren.
