Bio

Anton J. (Tom) Lenart, Sr., of 1000 N. Davis, West, was dead on arrival at a Waco hospital at 8:05 p.m. Friday of an apparent heart attack. Requiem Mass was celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption with Rev. George Doskocil as celebrant. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery. Rosary was recited at 7:30 p.m. Sunday in Kotch Funeral Home Chapel in West. Mr. Lenart was born near West and had lived in the West area all his life. He was a retired farmer and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption. He was a member of KJT Lodge 31 of West. Survivors include his wife, Millie; one son, Anton J. Lenart Jr., of Penelope; three daughters, Mrs. Raymond (Helen) Rauschuber of West, Mrs. Willie (Carrie) Dudik of Dallas and Mrs. Joe (Mary Jane) Spaniel of Waxahachie; one brother, Louis Lenart of Route 2, West; one sister, Mrs. Joe (Annie) Kolar of West; 25 grandchildren. Pallbearers were A. J. Lenart, Frank Lenart, Bernard Lenart, Raymond Lenart, R. F. Sablatura and Joe Horsak.
