Bio
Mrs. Mary Kostohryz, age 84, died at the home of her son, J. F. Kostohryz, near West on Monday, January 22nd. She had been visiting here for about a month when death came. Mrs. Kostohryz was a native of Czecho-Slovakia and had been in this country for twenty years. Funeral services were held at the Catholic Church here at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 24th, Rev. E. J. Polcak in charge. The interment was at the Catholic Cemetery. Survivors are five sons, J. F. Kostohryz of West, Jim of Caldwell, Frank of San Antonio, Anton of Caldwell, and Charles of Caldwell; two daughters, Mrs. John Kolar of West, and Mrs. Annie Hlavaty of Austin; one sister, Mrs. Annie Koudelka of Dime Box.
