Wilma T. Kizer, age 75, of West, passed away early Thursday morning, September 5, 1991 at her residence. A rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Saturday at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel by Msgr. George Doskocil. Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at 2 p.m. Sunday at St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption with Rev. Ed Karasek as Celebrant. Burial followed in St. Mary's Cemetery near West. Mrs. Kizer was born May 20, 1916 in West, the daughter of Edmund and Tracy Gerik. She was a factory worker and a homemaker. She was a member of SPJST Lodge No. 54, the K.J.Z.T. Society No. 11, and the Catholic Daughters of America. She was also a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption. She is survived by her daughter, Lillie M. Pyle of Abbott; three brothers, Raymond Gerik and Edwin Gerik, both of Waco, and Eugene Gerik of Mart; two grandchildren; two great-granddaughters; and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Eugene Gerik, Jr., Tony Gerik, Tommy Cole, Raymond Kolar, Robert Reesing, and George Soukup. Aderhold Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
