Anton F. Kaska HURST -- Anton F. Kaska, 87, died Friday, Oct. 29, 2004, in a Richland Hills hospital. Mass of Christian Burial: 11:15 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Church of the Assumption in West, the Rev. Ed Karasek, celebrant. Burial: to follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in West. Rosary: 11 a.m. Monday at the church. Memorials: may be made to St. Mary's Parish Center in West. Mr. Kaska was born and raised in West Jan. 4, 1917. He married Adela Dolezal Aug. 20, 1940, in West. He was employed at SSS Dynamics for 42 years as a machinist, retiring in 1982. Mr. Kaska was a member of St. John's The Apostle Catholic Church in North Richland Hills and KJT Society 31 of West. He loved Czech music and yardwork and his dachshund, Hogan. Survivors: Wife, Adela; son, Frank and wife, Lauen of Watauga; daughters, Rose Marie Kahrs and husband, Alfred of Springtown and Antoinette "Tony" Price and husband, Thomas of Spring Branch; sister, Henrietta Urban and husband, Willie of Bellmead; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
