Pioneer West Woman Is Claimed By Death Mrs. Anna Kapczynski, age 60, wife of V. E. Kapczynski, died at the family home near here Monday, August 17, at 7:30 p.m. Deceased was one of the early settlers of this section, having lived on the place where she died for the past fifty years. She was born in Europe and came to the United States when a child. Funeral services were held at the Catholic Church at 9 a.m. Wednesday with Rev. E. J. Polcak officiating. Interment was at the Catholic cemetery. Survivors are: her husband; one son, V. A., and one daughter, Mrs.Anna Smetak, all of West. The West News, West, Texas, Volume 47, No. 13, Ed. 1 - – Friday, August 21, 1936
