Magdlen (Olsovsky) Kallus, Lena died in Waco, Texas on June 8, 2021, at the age of 95. She was born in Elm Mott, Texas on April 11, 1926. Lena married Gilbert R. Kallus on July 27, 1950, and moved to Waco, Texas where she resided until her death. She is survived by her husband Gilbert and her children, David W. Kallus (Nancy), Mark A. Kallus (Suzan), Molly J. Miller (Don), and Dennis J. Kallus (Kathleen). Grandchildren include Lauren Kallus, Heather Kallus Galbraith, Brian Kallus, Andrew Kallus, Amanda Kallus Kaczenski, Ellen Miller Walsh, Ryan Kallus, and Scott Miller. Great-grandchildren include McKenna Galbraith, Isla Galbraith, Murray Galbraith, and Wesley Kaczenski. She is also survived by her brother Louie Olsovsky (Evelyn) and sister Teresa Compton. She was predeceased by her parents Louis Olsovsky and Bertha (Wachsmann) Olsovsky, and siblings Bertha Kousal, Irene Patterson, Louise Walters, and Dorothy Hykel. A rosary will be held on Saturday, June 19. 2021 at 11:00 AM at OakCrest Funeral Home in Waco, TX. It will be officiated by Deacon Greg George. A private graveside service, for immediate family members, will be held at St Mary's Cemetery. Lena's grandchildren will serve as pallbearers. OakCrest Funeral Home, Waco, Texas
