Bio

Joe Kallus, 89, passed away at his residence in West at 10:10 a.m. Sunday. Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Catholic church, burial in the Catholic cemetery. Pallbearers were six grandsons. Surviving are one brother, Louis Kallus of West; two sons, Frank and Louis, both of West; three daughters, Mrs. Leopold Hanak of Hallettsville, Mrs. John Stanislav of West and Mrs. John Bezdek of West; 27 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
