Bio

Mrs. Lillian Mikulik Jezek, age 84, of Yoakum, formerly of West, passed away early Monday morning, January 14, 1991 in Yoakum. Mrs. Jezek was born September 15, 1906 in Komensky, Texas, the daughter of Joseph and Barbara Mikulik. She married Frank Jezek on June 18, 1928. He preceded her in death on August 27, 1981. She was a housewife and homemaker. She was a member of the Ladies Altar Society, all in West. She was an active volunteer for the West Community Hospital Auxiliary and the West Rest Haven Nursing Home. She was also a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Bernadette and Dr. David Watson of Yoakum and Barbara and Edmund Fisher of Houston; one brother, Bill Mikulik of San Angelo; one sister, Della Migl of Victoria; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A rosary was recited 7 p.m. Tuesday at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel by Msgr. George Doskocil. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption with Rev. Ken Mikulik as Celebrant. Burial followed in St. Mary's Cemetery near West. Pallbearers were Michael Mino, Alan Carr, Dr. James Cain, Dr. David Watson, Matt Fisher, Mike Fisher, and Dwight Watson. Aderhold Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
