Mrs. Louis (Frances) Grmela, 71, of Route 2, Abbott, died Thursday, June 27, 1985 at her residence. Rosary was recited at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Kotch Funeral Home Chapel in West. Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in West, Msgr. George Doskocil officiating. Burial followed in St. Mary's Cemetery. Mrs. Grmela was born October 4, 1913 in West, where she lived all her life. Mrs. Grmela was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, the Altar Society and KJZT Society Number 11. She was married to Louis Grmela on November 9, 1936 in West. Survivors include her husband; two sons, Albert Grmela of Bakersfield, California, and Ernest Grmela of Route 1, West; three daughters, Dorothy Hajek and Louise Pokluda, both of Route 1, West, and Veronica Hrabal of Route 2, West; two brothers, Willie Rejcek of Itasca and Louis Rejcek of Route 1, West; two sisters, Rosie Knapp of Oak Ridge, Tennessee, and Tracy Rejcek of West; 18 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Pallbearers were Charles Hajek, Stephen Hrabal, Lawence Girard, Henry Rejcek, Clement Rejcek and Harry Grmela. Honorary Pallbearers were Andy Grmela, Damon Pokluda, Devin Pokluda and Louis Hajek.
