Rites Held for Frances Gerlich Mrs. Frances Gerlich, 83, of West died early Friday in West Community Hospital. Rosary was recited at 8 p.m. Saturday at Kotch Funeral Home Chapel in West. Services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Kotch Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. George Doskocil officiating. Burial followed in St. Mary's Cemetery in West. Mrs. Gerlich was born in Czechoslovakia but lived in New York for 30 years. She moved to West in 1959. Survivors include two sons, Alfred Gerlich of St. Louis and Reynold Gerlich of Queens, N.Y.; a daughter, Mrs. Adell Ruzicka of Long Island, N.Y.; two brothers, Adolf Janecka of Dallas and Joseph Janecka of Sugarland; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Eugene Gerlich, Jr., Adolph Janecka, Jr., Henry Gerlich, Charlie Makovy, Ernest Janecka and Ben Cernosek.
