Mrs. Jim Gerik, Age 77, Dies Mrs. Jim (Hattie) Gerik, 77, of 3203 Dutton died Monday night in San Fernando, California. Services are pending at Kotch Funeral Home in West. Mrs. Gerik was a native of Bomarton. She lived in Ross and West before moving to Waco 40 years ago. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and KJZT Society No. 117. Her husband died last April. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Walter (Evelyn) Strnadel of Granada Hills, Calif.; one son, Bernard Gerik of Canoga Park, Calif.; three brothers, Eugene Cocek of West, John Cocek of Tours and Bob Cocek of La Marque; one sister, Mrs. Mary Haidusek of West; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
