Bio

Mrs. Hattie Bakluda, age 70, of 503 E. Spruce St. in West passed away January 18, 1986 at West Community Hospital. Rosary was recited at 7 p.m. January 19 at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel by Msgr. George Doskocil. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 10 a.m. January 20 at St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption with Msgr. B.J. Zientek as celebrant. Burial followed in St. Mary's Cemetery. Mrs. Bakluda was born January 16, 1916 in Hill County to Louis and Mary Kahanek. She was married to John Joe Bakluda who preceded her in death May 26, 1976. She was a housewife and worked at Lorch Manufacturing Company for a number of years. She was a member of the SPJST Lodge and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption. She is survived by a son, Johnnie R. Bakluda of Rt. 1, Elm Mott; four sisters, Lillie Stacha of Plano, Mary Sijansky and Agnes Konvicka, both of Penelope and Julie Zatopek of Mount Calm; and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Robert Kahanek, Theodore Barton, Roman Slay, Bill Kopecky, Edward Makovy, Sr. and Florentino Perez.
