William Bacak Dies; Rites Set For Thursday William Bacak, 40, of Rt. 1, Cedar Hill, and formerly of West, died Monday morning in DeSoto. Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in Kotch Funeral Home Chapel in West. Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption in West, Rev. Robert Sykora as celebrant. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Mr. Bacak was born in West and lived at Cedar Hill the past five years. He was employed by Frito-Lay Company in Dallas. He was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Duncanville. He was a veteran of the Korean War. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lillian Bacak; a son, Kelvin Bacak of Rt. 1, Cedar Hill; four daughters, Diana Bacak, Theresa Bacak, Stephanie Bacak and Karen Bacak, all of Rt. 1, Cedar Hill; his father, Ignac Bacak of Rt. 2, West; two brothers, Ignac Bacak, Jr. of Ennis and Louis Bacak of Dallas; four sisters, Mrs. Mary Murphy, Mrs. Rudolph (Louise) Urban, Mrs. August (Lillian) Hlavenka, all of Dallas, and Mrs. Herman (Stacie) Roessler of 7611 Tallahassee; and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Gary Hutyra, James Murphy, Edward Bacak, Frankie Bacak, Herman G. Roessler and David Hlavenka.
