Bio

Funeral services for Mrs. Pearl Johnston, 85, were held Thursday, April 27, in the Spur Church of Christ. Thomas Seacy minister of Pioneer Park Church of Christ, Lubbock, officiated. Mrs. Johnston died in Ray´s Hospitality Home in Lubbock on April 25. She had been a resident of Spur since 1922. She was a member of the Church of Christ. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Edd Williams, Spur and Mrs. Fred Kinney, Seagraves; four grandchildren and four great-grands. Pallbearers included T.B. Watson, Ben Loe, Guy Goen, Harry Martin, John Dunaway, Louis Arnold, Arlie Ramage and Floyd Barnett.
