obituary; York News-Times, Friday, August 6, 2004 Raymond L. Senff Raymond L. Senff, age 76, of York, died Wednesday, August 04, 2004 at York. He was born August 16, 1927 in York County to Fredrich and Myrtle (Nelson) Senff. A 1944 graduate of Bradshaw High School he enjoyed fishing and was a member of the York V.F.W. Raymond was a veteran of the US Army having served during the Korean War. On March 23, 1951, he was married to Frances Jean Puterbaugh at York. They lived and farmed in York County until they retired to York. Survivors include his wife Frances Jean of York; daughter Peggy (Mike) Hemmer of Ankeny, IA; 3 sons, Larry (Barb) Senff, Jim (Marianne) and Kevin (Marcy) all of York. He has 10 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren and 4 step great-grandchildren. Also surviving are his brother Garland (Helen) Senff of Bradshaw and sisters Darlene Olson of Lincoln and Donna Abel of Denver, Co. Preceding him in death were his parents, 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Funeral services were held at the Metz Chapel in York. Burial with military graveside services was at the Council Cemetery west of York. Memorials may be directed to the Cancer fund or to the donor's choice
