Bio

Lois Thomas Durrant, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away Saturday, January 2, 1999, after a brief stay in a Salt Lake City hospital. Born August 22, 1915 in Paradise, Utah, to John Joseph and Ada Luella Jensen Thomas. She married Wayne Lambert Eldredge April 23, 1934. Later divorced. She married James Boyer Durrant April 21, 1936. She was preceded in death by her husband and daughter, Shellie Durrant Lunn. Survivors include her brother, John Clark Thomas; sons, Gene Thomas (DeAnn) Durrant, James Kelly Durrant, all of Salt Lake; Joseph Lloyd (Cherie) Eldredge of Orem, UT; daughter, Sharon Darlene Durrant (Ken) Adams of Ephrata, Washington; 15 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren. Brief memorial services will be held Tuesday Jan. 5, 1999, 11 a.m. at Mountain View Memorial Estates, 3115 East 7800 South (Bengal Blvd.); where friends may call one hour prior to services.
