Frances Marie Matus, age 51 of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, formerly of Tours, died Sunday morning in an Oklahoma City hospital. Rosary was recited at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in St. Martin’s Catholic Church, Tours. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 1 p.m. Wednesday in St. Martin’s Catholic Church, Tours, with Rev. Isidore Rozycki as celebrant. Burial followed in St. Martin’s Cemetery, Tours. Miss Matus was born June 19, 1940 in Tours and had lived in Oklahoma for the past 28 years. She graduated from West High School and Hill Jr. College. She was employed by Wal-Mart in Oklahoma City as a Departmental Manager. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Oklahoma City and the K.J.Z.T. Society #45 of Tours. Survivors include her mother, Wilma Matus of Tours; three brothers, Ed Matus of Elm Mott, Larry and David Matus, both of Tours; one sister, Katherine Foitek of Ross and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Randy Matus, Kevin Matus, Jason Matus, Louis Skopik, Terry Wright and Steve Wright. Honorary pallbearers were John Matus, Eddie Eagan, Bill Foitek and Charlie Tobola. Kotch Funeral Home of West was in charge of arrangements.
